It’s important to pause and remember
As a Certified Woman Business Owner, owning my own business has allowed me to balance my caregiving responsibilities for my children and husband. I couldn’t have done this without the caring and understanding of my family. Their love and support enabled me to grow personally and professionally, and I thank them.
We live in a world that is changing, where we don’t stop and smell the Roses. That’s why we must slow down, and take time to say thank you. By slowing down, we also observe how the outside world is changing our lives.
It has been a pleasure watching the long term care industry and my business grow. As a result of this change, I’ve served many new clients. My clients have helped me grow, and in partnership we have protected their independence and financial assets through my firms professional services and strategic planning. Listening to their stories, I’ve been moved when hearing about the difference long term care insurance has made in their quality of life when illness strikes.
Special thanks to Susan Palla and Barry Eldridge owners of Individual Commercial Brokerage, Inc. Susan and I served many years ago on the Board for the “Women’s Life Underwriters Confederation”. Their commitment to the long term care insurance industry provided me with the right tools and support staff to understand long term care insurance policies and underwriting guidelines. Additionally, ICB has been my window for viewing America’s changing long term care climate.
Finally, I love Irish poetry, and draw strength from beautiful words. So, let me close and say that whatever path you choose in life, “May the road rise to meet you” and always be safe with the people you love.
